Next gen css
When css first came out it was pretty neat but it has met its limit and big sites easily get bloated with lots of css rules.
The solution is to put a meta script on top of css and get the benefits of regular coding principles.
sass lang is the structured language to code your next gen css files. Compass is a library of css mixins coded with sass lang.
Other nice options is twitter bootstrap build using preboot and less, a language similiar to sass lang.
Requirements Ruby but that should not be a problem on a real os:)

Template monster is probaly the biggest resource for cheap templates. Most of the template sites out there is just resellers of this site. A standard template can be bought for around $60 which is cheap but they all need a lot of manuel work to implement to any site so they're good for inspiration but would require a lot of work in the end.
Any template can be bought xxx times so its not exclusive. If you wish you may pay up to $3000 to stop the template from being sold any further which is stupid as you can get a pretty good custom design for that price and it does not remove copies that has already been sold!
